Friday, September 30, 1977: Blackout
I didn't go to school today because had today off. Today I bought a paperback called "The Making of Star Trek". Tonight there was a blackout.
Thursday, September 29, 1977: Beth Update
Beth hurt her arm yesterday. Today Lawrence took her bowling. They are getting pretty friendly.
Tuesday, September 27, 1977: No School
I didn't go to school today. I forgot to write what I saw yesterday. Lawrence was carrying Beth's coat after school. I finished my model helicopter.
Tuesday, September 27, 1977: A.F.C.
Today Robert and I went to A.F.C. We played soccer. The teams were Robert, Chris, and some other kid against David Yeadon, Richy and Ron. We won 2 to 1. I scored a goal.
Sunday, September 25, 1977: Sunday with Anne
I went to Church this morning but Anne didn't come with us. Uncle Everett didn't come down from Truro either. Anne and I went for a walk today and I took some pictures of her. We watched "The Bionic Man" on TV. What a dumb show!!
Saturday, September 24, 1977: Shopping
Today we went shopping and I got a model helicopter and some Canadian decals. I also finished a model jet fighter.
Friday, September 23, 1977: Normal Friday
Today was a normal Friday. I saw Beth at school. Louise was bugging me today. I scored a goal and got two assists in soccer. Lawrence is good in soccer so Beth thinks he's cool.
Thursday, September 22, 1977: First Entry
Nothing much happened today. I went to the Eye Doctor today and I'm going to get new glasses next week or so. I think I like this new girl at school. Her name is Beth.
My ankle is swollen but it is starting to get better. David Yeadon says he is going to get Louise with water bombs. My friend at school Lawrence is trying to get Beth to like him.
