I saw Beth today. She was friendly. Billy Dingle came to A.F.C. tonight. A bunch of idiots showed up and wrecked it though.
Monday, November 28, 1977: Rancid Day
Today was rancid. I saw Beth today. I talked to her and seemed pretty friendly. Robert talked to Beth's sister Anna. He said that Anna said Beth "hates my guts".
Saturday, November 26, 1977: Starting a Tape
Dad, Anne and I went downtown. Ronny and Sandy were supposed to come down but they didn't. Anne and I started a tape to send to Bruce.
Friday, November 25, 1977: Parent Teacher Night
Tonight we had our parent teacher fellowship meeting at School. Jet (Beth's boyfriend) was there. What a jerk.
Wednesday, November 23, 1977: Making a Tape
Beth doesn't seem very kind to me lately. After supper Anne and I made a tape.
Tuesday, November 22, 1977: Sick
I was sick last night so I missed school. I slept in until 12:30. I went to A.F.C. tonight. We played hockey. I scored once. Robert got a hat trick (3 goals). Danny Gillard drove us home.
Monday, November 21, 1977: Beth Misses School
Beth didn't come to school today. Nothing else important happened. Anne and I burned some stuff in the back.
Sunday, November 20, 1977: Billy Come Over
Today was good. I have to write the Christmas play for our Sunday School Class. Billy Dingle came to Sunday School this morning. Later Billy came to lunch at the house of Mie Mie with us. Later Billy and I burnt some stuff in the back.
Friday, November 18, 1977: Bayers Road Twice
Today was great. (for a change). After school Mom, Dad and I went to Bayer's Road Shopping mall. After supper Ron Gagnon, Sandy, and Caroline came down. Anne and I went with them to Bayer's Road again and we got a Star Wars board game.
Beth has a new boyfriend named "Jet" who everyone calls "Jerk".
Thursday, November 17, 1977: 100% and Gross
Gross. What a stupid day. Donald is going out with Beth for sure. She told Robert that she thought I was younger than Donald but I am half a year older than him. I got 100% on my English test today.
Wednesday, November 16, 1977: Dad Won't Sign
Dad wouldn't sign my detention slip from yesterday so Mrs. Battleaxe said I had told my parents lies. I talked to Beth today. Anne and I walked dwon to the store.
Tuesday, November 15, 1977: Tests
Today I took my self-tests in English and in Science. I got another detention paper from Mrs. Battleaxe. Tomorrow I am going to be sitting beside Beth because of the new seating arrangement. Tonight we went to A.F.C.
I scored once in ball hockey. Ralph, Robert and I walked home.
Monday, November 14, 1977: Crappy Day
Barf! What a crappy day!
Dad went to the Doctor's so Robert and I took a taxi to school. The jerk sped the whole way. I forgot my English Pace at home so Mrs. Battleaxe was on my back all day. At lunch a fight started. Tommy Baker (Louise's little brother) got in a fight with Chris Jarvis and all of a sudden all the little kids were fighting. I tried to break it up but I almost got mobbed. Mrs. Battleaxe gave me a 30 minute detention for forgetting my English Pace.
Sunday, November 13, 1977: Giving Up
Today we went to Church. I have officially given up on Beth. I went down to Robert's and we played with his AF/X car race set.
Saturday, November 12, 1977: AFX - For the Feel of Real
Today Robert got an AF/X race car set. (my car set is Tyco). We had a lot of fun.
Friday, November 11, 1977: Remembrance Day
We had today off because it is Remembrance Day. Mom and Dad went to some meeting. Anne and I stayed home.
Thursday, November 10, 1977: No School
I didn't go to school today because I had to go to the Doctor.
Wednesday, November 9, 1977: Heartbreak
Today wasn't so good. Mrs. Battleaxe was down my back most of the day. Beth told Louise to tell me that Beth had another boyfriend and didn't like me. I asked Beth if what Louise said was true. She said "yes". I asked why she didn't tell me and she said she "I didn't tell you beause I didn't have the heart".
Tuesday, November 8, 1977: Phoning Beth
Today at lunch some jerks were bugging us. Beth chased them off. At A.F.C. we played floor hockey and our team lost. Later I called Beth and talked with her for a long time.
Monday, November 7, 1977: Sick
Today I didn't go to School because I was sick. I dreamed about Beth last night. Dad took the Cat to the Vet. Tonight Billy came over and we played a game.
Saturday, November 5, 1977: To See Star Wars
Last night I had a dream about Beth. Tonight Ron Gagnon, his girlfriend Sandy, Anne and I went to see "Star Wars"
Friday, November 4, 1977: Beth Dumps Donald
Today Robert told me that Beth likes me and she wishes I'd ask her out. We at McDonalds and Beth was there. Becky told us Beth dumped Donald.
Thursday, November 3, 1977: What Mom Thinks
Today wasn't bad. Beth is more interested in Donald. Mom thinks I'm too young to take Beth out.

Today wasn't a very good day. Beth told me she likes Donald.
Tuesday, November 1, 1977: A Big Day
Today was a big day. At lunch Lawrence told me he dropped Beth because she was "too boring". After school I made my mind up that I'd tell Beth I like her.
At A.F.C. I didn't have much fun. We played basket ball. After I got home I called Beth and told her I like her.
