Thursday, December 29, 1977: Snow
Today I slept in until 2:30 pm. It snowed today and i went out side and played in it.
Wednesday, December 28, 1977: Parents Return
I slept until 2:00 pm today. I dreamed about Beth last night. Mom and Dad came home today. I fell and hurt my knee bad. I went to bed at 2:10 am.
Monday, December 26, 1977: Boxing Day
Today Mom, Dad, Anne and Caroline went to Youth Retreat. Bill is staying over night. Jenny is taking care of us. We went to bed at 2:00 am. Later I woke up Billy and we raided the fridge. I made popcorn and tea for us. We went back to bed at 4:45 am.
Sunday, December 25, 1977: Christmas 1977
Today was excellent. I got up really early in the morning. I got a train set, extra track, a Star Wars doodle art, a new camera, and an electronics set. We went to Church and after Church we had turkey for lunch. I fooled around with stuff until supper when Uncle Everett came down. I stayed up until 12:30.
Saturday, December 24, 1977: Christmas Eve 1977
Today I got up at 2:00 pm. Billy came over stayed until 7:30. After supper at 12:00 midnight we called Donna and Gil. I talked to Jon, Keith and Jeff.
Friday, December 23, 1977: Shopping with Billy
Today was good. Today I called Beth and talked about Robert. She is 16 now. Billy and I went shopping. I bought a book for Jeff Longard's Christmas present.
Tuesday, December 20, 1977: To Uncle Everet's
Today was good. We went to Uncle Everet's. His washing machine blew up.
Monday, December 19, 1977: Christmas Concert
Today was good. Today was the Christmas Concert. We did our play and it went over okay. Billy gave me a model plane.
Sunday, December 18, 1977: No Billy
Today was good. Last night I dreamed about Beth. Billy didn't come to Sunday school today.
Friday, December 16, 1977: Christmas Holidays Begin
Today was good. Last night I had a dream about Beth. Today was the last day of school for the Christmas holidays so we had a party at school. Beth gave me a Christmas card. I talked to her a lot today.
Mom, Dad and Anne went out shopping. After supper Mom and Dad went out. Anne went up to Truro N.S. I stayed all alone. I taped a phone call to Robert. he thinks he's Mr. He-Man as far as girls go. That's why when Beth's sister Ann said she didn't like hime he gave up so fast. he didn't want the other kids to know he bombed out.
Thursday, December 15, 1977: To The Doctor's
Today I didn't go to school. Instead I went to the Doctor's. He gave me some king of junk to take. Last night I dreamed about aliens.
Tuesday, December 13, 1977: Bad Cold
Today wasn't good. I have got a terrible cold so I didn't go to school.
Monday, December 12, 1977: Shooting the FN C1A1
Today was excellent. At school I saw Beth and she seemed friendly. Robert is bugging me to join Army Cadets. Tonight at Halifax Rifles we shot the FN rifle. I took six shell cases home with me.
Sunday, December 11, 1977: Looking for Caroline
Today was good. I went to Church. Billy came over. Mom, Anne and I stayed home tonight. Some guy came to our door looking for my cousin Caroline! I had a bad cough.
Saturday, December 10, 1977: Shopping with Anne
Today was good. I went Christmas shopping with Anne.
Friday, December 9, 1977: No Beth
Beth didn't come to school today. After school Mom, Dad and Anne went out.
Wednesday, December 7, 1977: Figuring out Robert
Today was okay. I saw Beth today. She broke up with that guy Jet. (jerk) Robert told me she hates me and other barf. I think he wants me to be enemies with her so he can move in and try to get her to like him.
Tuesday, December 6, 1977: Snow Storm
Today was excellent. Today there was a snow storm so I didn't have to go to school. Anne and I drew funny singing groups for something to do.
Sunday, December 4, 1977: Writing the Play
I wrote my play for Sunday school. Danny Gilard (our teacher) likes it. I am looking forward to Army Cadets tomorrow. Billy came over today.
Friday, December 2, 1977: Wrapping Gifts
Today was good. Beth was at school as usual. I don't think Anne (my sister) likes her much. After school I got a hair cut at Bayers Road shopping mall. I would like to work at the Hobby Shop. Tonight I wrapped my gifts for Jon and Keith.
Thursday, December 1, 1977: Small Tree
Today was good. Robert's girlfriend Ann (Beths Sister) doesn't like him anymore. At least Beth wants to be friends. I have a cold so I didn't go out a recess.
Dad and I went and got a small Christmas tree fro Mom. She is having some party for the Church women. After supper Dad, Mom and Anne drove Mom's friend Jenny home. I stayed home and taped.
