I went to Church this morning. After Church tonight Rick and I drove in his new Honda Civic to the Golden Griddle.
Friday, April 28, 1978: Making Skateboards
I went to school today. At shop class we are making skateboards. After school Dad picked me up. After supper Mom, Dad and I went back to the shopping center.
Thursday, April 27, 1978: Shopping
I went to school today. I walked home. After supper Mom, Dad and I went to some shopping center. I bought a model.
Wednesday, April 26, 1978: Walked Home
I went to school today. I walked home. Nothing else happened. I watched TV.
Tuesday, April 25, 1978: Transmitter
Today I made an AM morse code transmitter. I hooked up a 12 volt battery to it. Bruce and I walked down to McDonalds for supper. Nothing else happened.
Monday, April 24, 1978: People Go Out
I didn't go to school today because I am sick with a cold. Mom and Dad went out shopping in the morning. Bruce went to some audition. Mom and Dad came back home after lunch. Mom went out after supper. Bruce went to Brian's.
Sunday, April 23, 1978: Church
Today I went to Church. Rick wasn't there. Nothing much else happened. I also went to church again tonight.
Saturday, April 22, 1978: Nunns Visit
Today I got up at 9:00 am. I got my hair cut. After we went to a hobby shop. Then Dad and I went home. Mom and Dad went to some kind of conference at the Church. Steve Nunn came over. After supper Mr. Nunn talked about how Trudeau is a communist.
Friday, April 21, 1978: Marla Visits
Today I went to school. I saw Jennifer. I had weird dreams about aliens last night. Marla came over today.
Wednesday, April 19, 1978: Walking the Dogs
I went to School today. I saw Jennifer. She gives me the occasional glance but that's it. I think she likes Mike Boden. After school I had a pizza. Bruce and I walked the dogs.
Tuesday, April 18, 1978: DQ
I went to school today. After school Dad drove me home. Tonight Mom, Dad and I went to the Dairy Queen. We also found a surplus store. They sell Fire Department Patches.
Monday, April 17, 1978: Rumours
I went to school today even though I didn't feel like it. Someone said there are two girls in class who like me. I don't know if it is true. Nothing else happened.
Sunday, April 16, 1978: Church & Pancakes
I went to Church today. After Church we went out for lunch. I went to Church tonight. After Church Mom and Dad went to Terry and Ruthann Evan's. I went to the Golden Griddle in the Sheppard Center with Rick Evans and the young people.
Saturday, April 15, 1978: Cher Bites Dad
Anne and Celest went back to B.C. on the airplane. I watched "Inside Track". Bruce went to Brian's. I made a tape for Jon Adolph. I hope he can come here in the summer. Cher, Bruce's dog bit Dad. She regretted it.
Friday, April 14, 1978: Jayne's Musical
I think today was the best day all week. I went to school today. Today was "greaser day" so everyone was dressed up 1950s style. The girls all had bobby socks and ribbons and the guys all dressed like fonzi.
After school I had a hamburger. Auntie Dot and Uncle Roy came and picked us up. We went to see Jayne sing in this musical with them, Uncle George, Uncle Bill and everyone else. There were lots of cousins. After I went back stage and saw her. They got three curtain calls.
Thursday, April 13, 1978: School update
I went to school today. There is a girl I like. I think her name is Jennifer. Mrs. Johnson is having us write stories for English. I am making something out of a leg of a chair in Shop. I don't know as of yet what it will be. Dad picked me up after school.
Wednesday, April 12, 1978: Out with Brian
I went to school today. There is one girl I like. Tonight Brian came over. Brian, Bruce and I went to a restaurant for coffee.
Tuesday, April 11, 1978: Delta 88
I didn't feel good this morning. Mom and Dad bought a new car last night. It is an Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royal. I went to school in the morning but felt sick so I came home this afternoon.
Monday, April 10, 1978: Some Girls
I went to school today. Some girl is saying that I like her ( I don't even know her!) I ate lunch there. Some girl whipped an orange and hit some guy in teh head at lunch. They took him to the hospital. After school I walked home. I bought some food on the way home. Mom and Dad went out some where. I stayed up until 11:30 pm.
Sunday, April 9, 1978: Popcorn & TV
I went to Church this morning. After Church I went home. I had pizza at lunch. Tonight I didn't go to Church. Anne and I ate popcorn and watched TV.
Saturday, April 8, 1978: Inside Track
I got up at 10:00 am. I watched TV with Dad. Rick Evans and I went to see the Christian TV Show "Inside Track" taped.
Wednesday, April 5, 1978: Nerf
I got up today and went to school. I stayed for lunch. I didn't finish all of it but I figured I could pick up a piece of pizza at the Sheppard Center. At lunch break we played a game of keep away with the girls (with a Nerf football). There are so many nice girls here. After school I went to the Sheppard Center and had pizza. I also photo copied some drawings. After supper Caron Gamble came over. Anne, Caron and I took the dogs for a walk.
Tuesday, April 4, 1978: School
I got up at 7:30 am and had a bath. I went to school. We had PE class. We did speed sit ups. I did 33. After we had shop. What a riot that was. The teacher is a stooge. For two periods he just rambled on while we shot elastics. I went home for lunch. After school I walked home. I stopped at the Sheppard Center and went in the Library. After supper I watched TV with Celest.
Monday, April 3, 1978: New School
I went to school today. I met a guy named Dave. I wlaked home from school.
