Korg has announced a new pocket sized true analog ribbon controlled synth called the Monotron will be available in August of this year. The most amazing thing about this unit is the price; under 100$.
The unit doesn't have Midi or USB however it does have audio in so external signals can be processed through the MS-20 based filter. I have been like a kid waiting for Christmas with the coming of May's Kaossilator Pro release. Now I have something to look forward to in August as well.
Sunday, March 14, 2010: More Delay
I picked up a new delay pedal. It is the Hardwire Delay Looper made by Digitech. I love my Digitech Digidelay but it unfortunately only has a mono feed in. The Hardwire has stereo ins and 8 seconds of straight delay as well as 20 seconds looping time. It sounds good in most modes although I have noticed a tendency to produce artifacts when over driven.
